As soon as I noticed chipping I emailed YSL customer care and they replied right away and said their quality department wanted the bag to look at if repair is possible. The bag was purchased from Century21 so they won’t repair it anyway. This has led me to believe that YSL knowingly sells defective bags to unauthorized retailers and that’s why they won’t repair them. This is the only YSL bag that I didn’t purchase directly from them or a major department store and it’s the only one that has an issue. Your Saint Laurent purchase has 2-year warranty which should cover repairs of this sort. I am sorry for the inconvenience and remain at your service should you require further assistance." Based on the photos, they blamed the cracking of leather on "external factors" and not at all on faulty quality. Unbelievable, this bag has barely been used.

I'm afraid that the large will lose its shape. I had purchased a large anthrocite and returned it because it was all misshaped. I just hope the medium is a nice size for ever day.
The last thread I could find about YSL warranty was already 2 years old. Not sure if anything changed over the last few years. I already made contact with customer service through the YSL website (which has been lovely so far, very fast replies), and they are checking the damage on the pictures first to see if they can replace the logo.
I would say definitely get it. The YSL WOC in my opinion is way worth it than the Chanel WOC because of its price point and it’s versatility (can be worn 4 ways). It’s also both classy and stylish.
