I've been through a fair few Seikos and Orients, even a Pulsar, and they were never worth keeping. I came down between a Grand Seiko Spring Drive or a Breitling Colt. Just from general experience from the brands and etc. What will you guys suggest is the overall better watch. The Grand Seiko is more in keeping with classic styling for formal occasions. The Breitling is "dressy" but not in the same way. It's more of a smart casual piece than something that would be worn with a tux (or even a formal suit).

Seiko 5 is the best value watch out there, with great functionality, looks, and history. It really is, I love the old ones too. I have a handful of 5s from the 70s and they’re great. But trust me, Seiko can hang with the best of them. And the Grand Seikos are superior to Rolex/Omega and even dare I say it Breitling in their build quality, finish and are on par with the greats when it comes to movement.
